The holiday season is approaching and I'm sure crafters will be busy all over the world. The will be cards, wood boards, scrapbooks, and ornaments all over the internet. I will just be sitting here enjoying my little corner of the world.<br />

It was a lot of work, but I enjoyed every minute of it. The last one is mine and I haven't decided what colors to use on it yet. Of course, there will be a crown!.......lol. And, in case you didn't notice in two of the pics, my assistant, Brandon. <br />
<br />
I am wishing everyone a happy and safe holiday season. <br />

It's that time to celebrate Mother's Day! I used the daisy from the <a href="http://www.cutandcreate.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=43_81&products_id=540" target="_blank">Flower Set - One</a>. But, keep in mind, this set comes with three flower cuts and a banner!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I cut my layers in patterned paper, using white for the top layer, added a stem, a banner, and some bling.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MzGSu2LYJhg/U15Lj6jm2EI/AAAAAAAAAxA/RtaLMQPCnwg/s1600/20140427_203410-1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-MzGSu2LYJhg/U15Lj6jm2EI/AAAAAAAAAxA/RtaLMQPCnwg/s1600/20140427_203410-1.jpg" height="320" width="268" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
For the inside, I layered my paper, added another daisy and my sentiment.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I made the base by copying the bottom layer and welding it to make the card. For some reason, when I saw this cut, I immediately thought "heavenly" and since the top reminded me of a window, I inked up some white paper, using blue distress ink, to form a cloud scene. Stamped 'Happy Easter' on the inside to finish.</span></span><br />

I started out with a 6 x 6 ceramic tile and embossed my sentiments (huggable, sweetness, adorable, and thankful) for my border. I used paper butterflies for the corner embellishments (Michael's $1 bin). I cut the <a href="http://www.cutandcreate.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=43_81&products_id=346" target="_blank">World's Best Mom</a> layers in a 4 x 4 area. As you can see, the base and letters in black and the middle layer in white. It was really easy to put these layers together by the shape of the base. After cutting, and putting the layers together, I adhered the cut to the tile using mod podge, and in order to give the cut some durability and shine, I painted a thin coat of mod podge over it.<br />

For the background I layered two pieces of vellum--one pattern (striped) and one plain-- which I embossed with the circle heart stamp. I then used the heart border from the Valentine Hearts set for the top and bottom borders. I used the word "LOVE" from the Valentine set. For the inside I combined the two sets again, using the heart and the cupids. I had fun making this card because it took me out of my comfort zone. Layering the vellum was a challenge. I decided to use wet glue so that it would buckle some. In order to hide the adhesive, I put it behind all the elements on the front of the card." </span><br />

I covered the outline (red) and the inside heart in UTEE for dimension. The background is fabric that I embossed with a "love letter" stamp. Red and white roses to finish off the front. On the inside, I used the Heart Lock cut and added a keepsake key embellishment. "To my love" is stamped above the heart lock - representing that I am giving my love the key to my heart." I also cut each side in order to feed the "key to my heart" ribbon (adhesive on the back of the ribbon).</span></span><br />

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"><br /></span>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; line-height: 18px;"> From the <a href="http://www.cutandcreate.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=43_81&products_id=492" target="_blank">FOOTBALL SET</a> I used the helmet, football, and the silhouettes. I cut the helmet twice to make the layers (had to add that silver paper for the grill) and added brads for accent. I must say that the title is my favorite part of the page. Using the silhouettes over the word "football" (which was printed on the paper) added so much action. I used SCAL for the letters and numbers. And, of course I had to cut the football - it was a "must have". My page would not have been complete without it!</span><br />

<span style="background-color: white; font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; line-height: 22px;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">My sister has kept me pretty busy this holiday season making Christmas cards! </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hDl_D9zL-1A/UrL_7jLwc8I/AAAAAAAAAow/og161-FjiOg/s1600/2013-12-03+22.03.22.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-hDl_D9zL-1A/UrL_7jLwc8I/AAAAAAAAAow/og161-FjiOg/s320/2013-12-03+22.03.22.jpg" width="263" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">This was a HIT!</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HuS2C6dkyY4/UrL_7voiedI/AAAAAAAAAoo/yyRcDFYmiM0/s1600/2013-12-07+20.11.37.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-HuS2C6dkyY4/UrL_7voiedI/AAAAAAAAAoo/yyRcDFYmiM0/s320/2013-12-07+20.11.37.jpg" width="282" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">Working with a little acetate paper, some snowflakes, stamps, and a circle punch and this is what I get!</span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fST5hhT95IQ/UrL_7klrTaI/AAAAAAAAAo8/MZveG2npGPI/s1600/2013-12-07+20.11.57.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fST5hhT95IQ/UrL_7klrTaI/AAAAAAAAAo8/MZveG2npGPI/s320/2013-12-07+20.11.57.jpg" width="282" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;">The background is actually an SVG (Birds Cards), but instead of cutting it, I blew the dust off of those Cri-Cut pens and out came this great background!</span></div>

I cut strips from various papers to make the banners for the background, added a ribbon across the top, strung some lights, and also added a bauble (cut and embossed in the Cuttlebug with a Pepsi can!). Festive was the look I was going for.<br />

I used the Thanksgiving Set 2 for my scrapbook layout. The heading made a great title and using the turkey, acorns and leaves gave me the perfect elements for decoration and dimension. I used neon papers for the feathers on the turkey and a patterned paper for the body. Also, I used garnet colored embossing powder for the top of the acorns. The leaves were cut, vines drawn on and then sprayed with alcohol ink for that fall color theme.</span><br />

I used the Jack-O-Lantern and the Boo/Spider sets to make this treat box. I used glitter paper for the pumpkins (of course!), google eyes, and coordinating ribbon for the handles and on the bottom. <br />

<br />
For this card I used <a href="http://www.cutandcreate.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=78&sort=20a&page=2" target="_blank">JACK PUMPKINS</a>. This set comes with four different pumpkin cuts! Using each pumpkin to accent the face of card on a fabric base, with a pumpkin printed ribbon. I thought they were a perfect match for the "HEY PUMPKIN" stamp. Also stamping the inside and embossing with a neon orange powder "HAPPY HALLOWEEN".<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3HKYGUamyKc/UlJJM2qFEII/AAAAAAAAAjk/FDtmkdMloqg/s1600/photo+(1).JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="247" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-3HKYGUamyKc/UlJJM2qFEII/AAAAAAAAAjk/FDtmkdMloqg/s320/photo+(1).JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

I used the Girlz One Set for my scrapbook page. Using all four cuts (mirror, perfume, lipstick and nail polish) I wanted to show all of the elements of this great set. I used mirror paper on the mirror (of course), embossed the perfume bottle, and used the mirror paper on the lipstick to give the look of a chrome case.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cnljzW7jVLE/Uj-xjgMW0FI/AAAAAAAAAiY/tqmK7OFYekg/s1600/sydnie.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-cnljzW7jVLE/Uj-xjgMW0FI/AAAAAAAAAiY/tqmK7OFYekg/s400/sydnie.JPG" width="397" /></a></div>

It's amazing how much stuff you can fit into one room! But, this is where I spend the majority of my "home" time. As you can see, I have tried to make use of every shelf, drawer, bin, and wall space.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This first pic shows my tv, printer, paper stack over in the corner (which is actually two racks stacked), my cabinet full of goodies. On he top shelf there is paper, the second shelf is stuff I mix up, flocking, stickles, and adhesives. The next shelf is embossing powders, glitters, and adhesives. The next shelf is my sewing machine, slice machine, acrylic paints, and in the box is markers and pencils. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The bottom shelf has paper packs (imagine that!), large punches, and sprays (adhesive, shellac, hairspray, etc).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TBWst_MUd3A/Ugft0zq__kI/AAAAAAAAAew/EUgaNNXiK4A/s1600/1.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-TBWst_MUd3A/Ugft0zq__kI/AAAAAAAAAew/EUgaNNXiK4A/s320/1.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This next pic shows brads, brads, and more brads. The last shelf has punches, alcohol inks and the bin holds my cricut pens and misc. items. Under the shelves is my "covered" cricut expression, and little 4 drawer bin that holds various stamping items, and on the shelves under the cricut is where I keep my mats, various threads, beading, and punches.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dR77-w55-Pc/UgftlANXGCI/AAAAAAAAAeg/4SbH6SsEtLw/s1600/2.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-dR77-w55-Pc/UgftlANXGCI/AAAAAAAAAeg/4SbH6SsEtLw/s320/2.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This next pics shows my wall hanging storage compartments. I got this at Home Depot and it was supposed to be for nails, screws, etc. Instead, it holds embellishments, puffy paint, glitter, twine, chalks, metal frames, etc. And, the wood shelf next to it holds all of my ink pads. Under that is more paper (OMG! how much paper do I need?....lol). In the bottom of that area is misc. ribbons, materials, and books. Next to that the boxes on top hold ribbons, and of course the other wall hanging is ribbons! The container under my "covered" cricut create is ribbons! Over in the corner is my notebooks with all of my clear stamps. There is more than meets the eye! In he drawers of the multi-colored storage bin there is paper (of course), adhesives, and embellishments. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FHimYyvi8H8/UgftxEq6YFI/AAAAAAAAAeo/EzjLg_V-btU/s1600/3.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-FHimYyvi8H8/UgftxEq6YFI/AAAAAAAAAeo/EzjLg_V-btU/s320/3.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This next pic shows my tool holder, and under that is misc. items. (There sure are a lot of misc. items in this room.....lol). In the plastic cabinet are large stamps and stamp around the page items. Next is the cutest little storage cabinet that I got from LTD a long time ago. I have tried to keep stuff in the drawers as they are listed on the cabinet. There are some differences, I have jewelry making tools and misc items in there also. Hanging above is my heat gun and glue guns. In the jars are just misc. embellishments. Over in the corner are some of my cricut cartridges. These are the ones that would not fit in the jukeboxes that I am using for cartridge storage. I don't hardly ever use cartridges any more since I have discovered svg and also my gypsy. Let's not even discuss what's in that closet....lol.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--iESpCpg5F4/UgfuO7qyIEI/AAAAAAAAAfI/jKOBPK_08e4/s1600/5.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--iESpCpg5F4/UgfuO7qyIEI/AAAAAAAAAfI/jKOBPK_08e4/s320/5.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
This next pic shows my spice rack turned into punch holder, my inspiration shelf and board. Just where I put things that I make that I want to keep and also things that my crafty friends give me. The small shelf hanging on the wall holds perfect pearls and alcohol inks.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ScyIby0leaE/UgfuD3jpy7I/AAAAAAAAAe4/KNI59dPr2Cc/s1600/4.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-ScyIby0leaE/UgfuD3jpy7I/AAAAAAAAAe4/KNI59dPr2Cc/s320/4.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The final pic shows my cricut imagine, and my cutters. I won't even say how many are actually on that cart....lol. Th next shelf has my Your Story, embellishments, notebooks with various items (borders, instructions, pictures) and boxes of pictures that I am going to put into a scrapbook one day.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>

(Thank you Pam!) There were a group of wonderful, crafty ladies, good food, and lots-to-do! We made cards, jewelry, a dish, a coaster, etc.!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">The theme of the day was Paris and my favorite was the Eiffel Tower! Of course Pam had a great sample sitting on the table that she had made, but here is my attempt. (sorry that it's sideways). Pam had cut the SVG on great pattern paper and the rest was up to us! The flowers started out white, but I sprayed and glittered until my lil' heart was content. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VL9xLtTjVm4/Ub8UJFM9_fI/AAAAAAAAAdQ/qH5Z4BGee7Q/s1600/tower.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" cya="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-VL9xLtTjVm4/Ub8UJFM9_fI/AAAAAAAAAdQ/qH5Z4BGee7Q/s1600/tower.JPG" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Our next project was a necklace! Of course I had to put a crown in mine but we had the option of putting anything we wanted in it. (Any picture, object, etc.). I have this crown laid inside the cap and adhered with Glossy Accents. There is actually a stone in the top of the crown, but the pic doesn't show it. I'm thinking I need to add some bling/spacers, really jazz this up a little.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kcOIN7tyYEE/Ub8VDpPQYMI/AAAAAAAAAdY/qcvjmzjHBCA/s1600/necklace.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" cya="true" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-kcOIN7tyYEE/Ub8VDpPQYMI/AAAAAAAAAdY/qcvjmzjHBCA/s320/necklace.JPG" width="209" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">My next project was a beautiful fairy card! Now, in case you didn't know, I can't cut straight.....lol. But, did it matter...NO!....lol. This is my first attempt and I think it turned out pretty good. Of course I'm looking at it thinking "ummm, what more can I do?"......lol.</span> </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GyK_MUQz7uI/Ub8XsptMZSI/AAAAAAAAAdo/1DFU3jyVX7U/s1600/fairy+card.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" cya="true" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-GyK_MUQz7uI/Ub8XsptMZSI/AAAAAAAAAdo/1DFU3jyVX7U/s320/fairy+card.JPG" width="260" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">Then, my craftiness carried over to the next day! Pam had given me this crown a while back, and I had used this paper on a previous project (even the beads on the necklace above), so I decided to put them together and this is what I came up with. Again, the flowers were white, and again, I sprayed and glittered.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UTDLgBAnAW4/Ub8YVykii0I/AAAAAAAAAdw/-CK-KP2YfH0/s1600/crown.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" cya="true" height="251" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-UTDLgBAnAW4/Ub8YVykii0I/AAAAAAAAAdw/-CK-KP2YfH0/s320/crown.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;">I had a great weekend and great projects that I had to share! I'm already waiting for next June. As soon as Pam sets the date, I will be marking my calendar!</span><br />
<br />

Using the <a href="http://www.creativecuttingchallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Patriotic Set</a> I used the Statue of Liberty to make these ATC's. I had a paper pack by Paris Hilton (believe that!) and it was perfect for this theme! I embossed, glittered, taped and embellished.<br />

I chose to say "congratulations" with the church, which you can get at <a href="http://www.cutandcreate.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=43_81" target="_blank">The Creative Pointe Online Store</a>. <br />
<br />

<br />

<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NPif7JDCxTg/UX6tOvmP6GI/AAAAAAAAAbs/jxIUcyownQE/s1600/front.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" lua="true" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-NPif7JDCxTg/UX6tOvmP6GI/AAAAAAAAAbs/jxIUcyownQE/s320/front.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fAuMWBv77Jo/UX6tRoeDW0I/AAAAAAAAAb0/uVYcNzyhIdI/s1600/inside.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" lua="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-fAuMWBv77Jo/UX6tRoeDW0I/AAAAAAAAAb0/uVYcNzyhIdI/s320/inside.JPG" width="240" /></a><br />
<br />
I enjoyed making this card and adding my own little special touches. After cutting the card, I cut it as two separate pieces, one black, one white. The black for the front (outside) and the white for the inside. The black outside, I embossed with the honeycomb embossing folder which I have been dying to use! I then when over the lines with a white pen, giving it that brick look. I then embossed the white cuts for the front of the church, lining them up in the folder. <br />
<br />
I cut the cross out in gold glitter, and the door to the church. How cool is that???......lol. Of course the "congratulations" was stamped in gold stayz on in order to coordinate.<br />
<br />
For the windows. I cut them in pattern paper first, and then I cut them in vellum to give them the frosted stained glass look. In order to get the frames, I just resized and layered the windows.<br />
<br />

So, I get to show off what I've learned over the past couple of weeks. Dimensional dress forms....yeah! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y38Rx9bIvp8/UUhuiNmwINI/AAAAAAAAAbA/OJjtRA994tM/s1600/dressform.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" psa="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-y38Rx9bIvp8/UUhuiNmwINI/AAAAAAAAAbA/OJjtRA994tM/s320/dressform.jpg" width="228" /></a></div>
I cut the dress form from an SVG on chipboard two times, then 16 times using various vellum papers. After assembling, I began to decorate! Using flowers, beads, ribbons and hot glue, this is what I came up with. The "topper" is a stick pin I made using a corsage pin, flowers, beads, and stickles.<br />
<br />
So, it doesn't matter what you have created this week, hop on over to <a href="http://www.creativecuttingchallenge.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">CREATIVE CUTTING CHALLENGE</a> and enter your creations!
